The “Holiday Train Show” takes place at the New York Botanical Garden.  This show features model trains that travel though the landmark replicas made by the award-winning designer Paul Busse. This year there are 140 landmark replicas and there will be even more in the coming years. This show is enjoyed by people of all ages. The holiday train show hours during the holiday weeks i.e. sfrom 15th of December to 2nd of January are from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. The show will close at 3 p.m. on December 12 and December 24.

The lighting of the Park Avenue Christmas Trees began seventy years ago in order to honor the men and women who died in World War II. Every year the trees are lit on the first Sunday of December following a ceremony outside the Brick Presbyterian Church that serves as a reminder of the original meaning of the lights and a celebration of the holiday season. The trees are lit on December 7, 2014 at 6:30pm and will be lit through mid-January.
